Yes, it is true that June 20, the first day of the 2008 Summer NAMM event and the last day of the InfoComm show now overlap. NAMM worked with the city of Nashville and did everything in our power to prevent this conflict, but unfortunately, it was unavoidable.
At this point, we know that approximately some of our current Summer NAMM exhibitors and the reps who handle those pro-audio and lighting lines will be affected.
We know this overlap situation could inconvenience some of you and we are prepared to work with you to come up with solutions that will make your participation at both shows possible and desirable for your company. We encourage you to let us know early about any issues you're facing so we can begin planning together for a successful 2008 event.
The convention business typically books well in advance and given the relatively short notice of our request to hold the show in Nashville (less than a year), the only available dates to hold Summer NAMM were June 20-22, 2008.
